Vinyasa Yoga Flow

Vinyasa, also called flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together, is one of the most popular contemporary styles of yoga. In vinyasa yoga, each movement is synchronized to a breath. The breath is given primacy, acting as an anchor as you move from one pose to the next. It’s is a gentler version of power flow.

Restorative Yoga Flow

Restorative classes are very mellow, making them a good complement to more active practices and an excellent antidote to stress. It’s about slowing down and opening the body through passive stretching. In restorative yoga, props are used extensively to support your body so that you can hold poses for longer. Postures are usually adapted from supine or seated yoga poses with the addition of blocks, bolsters, and blankets to eliminate unnecessary straining.
